Today, Howard University President H. Patrick Swygert announced the appointment of Larry Warren as chief executive officer of Howard University Hospital, effective August 1, 2007.

First Lady Laura Bush visited the Howard University Hospital's Center for Infectious Disease Management and Research (CIDMAR) on Tuesday, June 19, as part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the United States.
