Howard University Hospital Department of Psychiatry Research on Genetics & Depression

 

Are you an African-American who has experienced depression more than once in your life? Did your depression start by age 30 or younger? If so, you may qualify to participate in a research study on genetics and depression. If you and a sibling, or parent has experienced depression, Howard University department of psychiatry would like to hear from you. African-American are among the most under-represented groups in studies on depression. studies like this will help develop better treatment for this condition.

To participate, you must be at least 18 years old, not be diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, or have bi-polar disorder in your immediate family. All participants will be compensated for their time.
